You need to set up your i/o in Pro Tools in the usual way.
You need to run two engines, Core Audio and DTDM, DAE plugs in Core Audio, native stuff in DTDM and you can connect the two via 'direct connect' to stream up to 8 tracks..

Actually the engines are DTDM for native and TDM for PT audio, core audio should not be active. The connection bridge is called ESB (Emagic System Bridge).

Yep , sorry, it's DAE and Direct TDM. unsure.gif

Use DAE input tracks with ESB 1-8 as inputs to monitor audio from all DTDM track / instruments that are set to ESB outputs.

Eh? It sounds like you should go back into Audio/Midi setup and select your mbox or 002 as the CoreAudio device. Then run the Logic Setup Assistant again and make sure that you select the digi interface as your audio device. Logic should launch the digidesign coreaudio driver during loading and everything should be a royal day at the beach.

Actually, I just noticed how old your post was, hopefully you've figured this out by now and I'm just typing to keep my fingers in shape.

Do any of you know if its possible to do this with the Digidesign 882/20? I wouldn't imagine its too much different from the 888/24.

thanks
