Two Emacs purchased in Dec. had bad Mother boards. The first would not boot and returned and the second would not shutdown after a few weeks of service. Perhaps only coincidence but if others are having similar problems, you may want to think before you buy one.

I bought 2 this past summer and they are working great, hopefully it was just a bad coincidence for you.
