Does anyone know if you can you hook up the presonus firepod and tascam-1884 together and record at the same time?

I hear you can with DP from MOTU, but never used it. As for other apps, there are various ways to do it theoretically, but each interface will have a slightly different clock speed that will get off from each other within minutes and cause big problems. I've tried it with the Mbox and the powerbook internal card - cool for about 2 minutes, then it got nasty and distorted... Apparently DP has some code that tries to correct for this while recording/playing.
