Hi,

I'm looking for mastering plug-ins and considering Wave Arts TrackPlug and FinalPlug.
Does anyone has an extensive experience with these plugs?
Any suggestions... (I'm currently testing the demo version)
What other plug-ins should I consider to make a good final master (± same budget)

Thanks
NG

I have TC electronics finalizer 96k, believe me no plug in is doing the same thing. I tried everything from Tracks to Ozone, from yamaha and waves multiband compression. It is not the same quality. But also I can say a great song is great even the sound is not perfect. So let your year decide what to do.

PS. My english is not so good

Hi MAC People,

I am running two t.c. electronics PowerCore PCI cards on a G4 running DP4.52. For mastering or any other purpose, I am very happy with the plugs. I have many other plugs which I use, but I keep comming back to the PowerCore. The Clasic Reverb, the EQ, the compression and the MasterX5 are great. They are like the PT/TDM solution in that the have their own processors and do not load your computer's CPU. I can recomend them highly.

The MD3 Mastering Plugin for powercore is fantastic if you have a spare US$995 (street price $795).

I have Tc Powercore, and also L3 of waves.L3 is the multicompressor more powerful than it has at the present time.If it complete with the masters bundle of waves, you will make the masterized more incredible than you have heard.I have Fairman and Tube-tech, and what I have obtained with Waves i have not obtained it with anything.Waves arts, and Powercore, do not hold a comparison with waves masters bundle and L3.

What is better a symphony orchestra or Mellotron? The classic or the new sounds?
Placido Domingo or John Lennon? You imagine to Placido Domingo singing Straberry fields forever? Are very different things but...The life is hard, although you are Fairman.I like the future of music and his vaporous sounds,Its sonics meshes, that they discover slowly a new world. It does not concern me that to somebody it likes the classic sounds. Why matters to you that to me I like the new thing? There are tastes for everything. My taste is only my taste,It is not importan, but for me is very important.

I've been using the suite of plugs from Elemental Audio. Take a look at their Neodynum it;s a different type of animal but I've been getting goog results with it.
