I would say.. Griffin iMic. if you're looking for 16 bit..
for 24 bit, it's basically rather open.. (wait for Apple's offering to see what they come up with).

Well, the iMic need a proper driver to work ok, and you pay for it. Now it's decent, that's all. for a few bucks more (iMice+driver price base) you have small things working from Edirol or M-audio, which are better.

You can't beat iMic, but you have what you pay.
