Hi,
Is there anyone out there who is using Logic 6or 7 with an Oxygen 8 keyboard; and actually knows all the CC number paramaters for the EVP 88? I've figured out most of paramater numbers but I can't seem to get the right number(s) for the "stretch" knobs in the upper right corner of the instrument. I would really like to control this part of the instrument with the knobs on my Oxygen 8. The CC numbers given in the Logic manual don't work with the O8. Any help would be deeply appreciated. Thanks, D. This post has been edited by Derok: Mon 10 Jan 2005, 03:56 |

to find out the CC number of a filter in logic use the environment and create a monitor. then chain it to the track mixer channel that has the AI you want to monitor the midi events on.
super tip for you below..... you do not need to know the cc numbers in logic 7. 1. touch the AI filter that you want to control with the oxygen 8. 2. on the menu bar Logic > Preferences > Control Surfaces 3. click on learn key 4. turn the knob on the oxygen 8 that you want to control it seems that this works really well. i had a hard time in logic pro 6 getting my oxygen to work. emagic told me that they swithed from CC numbers to filter events, and also that you could only use one knob at a time in logic 6. well in logic 7 you can use the above method to use muliple knobs at once when recording. wow. i wish someone would have told me this my first days of using logic. happy recording, editbrain |

Hey Editbrain!
You made my night! ...Just a click and a turn of a few knobs...and I am in control now. This Logic 7 keeps on surprising me when I think I should give up on it. Thanks for your instructions. The O8 interfaces perfectly. :-) D. |
