Do you know if ll the attached computers need to be running tiger? ie: Can the main machine run tiger and the other run 10.3.9 or even OS? I've got several older PowerBook with old versions of Unity Session.

mhmmm DONUTS! (maybe Apple indeed red our forums some time ago…    I'll be at the official meeting organized by Apple in paris over Tiger tomorrow, i'll ask, among some questions about the fat32 and ntfs PC formats wich s… big time users in some mixed environments.

I just had the chance to try it out and it is great. This brings new life to my dual g4 500. I can run Reason, Battery, whatever... and treat the G4 as a sound modual of sorts. The end result is near zero latency. Now if only we could pass audio directly from computer to computer via a single USB or firewire connection -- without an interface.

Something also to notice:
In Quicktime 7 player , open an audio file, press AppleKey+K ("AV Controls") and move the "Playback Speed" slider : the audio get TIMETRECHED IN REAL TIME !!!!!!!!!! Isn't it cooooooooool?
