I got an Alesis AirFX controller. It lets me add envelope shifts and all sorts of other cool FX to my music! The best part is: no knobs or slide switches to twiddle! This thing uses an IR sensor to change the FX according to the movement of one's hand. It is sweet! I'll record some samples later.

Okies. I got the sample uploaded. Normally, it would just be a constant tone It's a sawtooth wave 'c' all the sounds after the record scratching do not require external input. It's a 3.5 MB 128kbps mp3 file. Enjoy! http://www.scifi-pics.com/Envelope_experiments.mp3 Special thanx to Pic-A-Card for letting me use his server.

Well, according to my source, Alesis chapter 11-ed, and there's talk of a takeover, so chances of finding one of their Airsynths are pretty slim. This AirFX was one of only two the guy had left.
This combined with an Airsynth would be an amasing instrument. Pitch control with one hand, envelope with the other.... That's good stuff, matey. ^_^
