Dear All,
I've been using a tracking program to compose music, and I've read all the documention on the application, as well as tracking articles on that are still available on the web. My music still sounds terrible. Due to lack of money, I'm stuck with using quicktime instruments! If anybody can give me tips I'd greatly appreciate it.

There are tons of thing that need to be done to sound good. Not all of them take money.
I don't know which progam you are using, so I can't really recomend which way to go.
The best way to start out it to check the resorces in the Software section.
There are some fee things, cheep things, and expencive things out there.
