Hi there guys, hope you can help, am having problems with my Sampletank 2L.

The setup: Dual 1 gig G4 MDD, 1.25 Gig ram, 120 HD, Edirol DA2496, Logic 4.7 Platinum, OS 9.22.

The problem:

I followed the installation procedure to the book-installed the driver CD then installed the 4 sound CD's in the sampletank2 folder, registered..cool!

First time I opened up there were no presets, so I clicked the "pref" button, the "browse" and chose the "sampletank 2 instruments" and clicked "choose".

Firstly was this the right thing to do?

Secondly, when I rebooted the computer the presets were now there. Thing is whenever I try to load a sound it crashes, it is totally unusable.

I've trashed the preferences and hoped that might solve the problem, but it hasn't.

Any advice would be welcomed warmly.

Thanks, dev

I think you might need a newer version of Logic. If that is financially prohibitive then you may want to try one of the less expensive products out there. Of course most of them require OSX also.

Thanks for the response guys.
I've just had an email back from them, they said to try downloading the latest version(2.0.6) from their site like (soif) advised.
Also they said it should work on logic 4.7, its with 5.5 where it doesn't work.

Oh well, i'll give it a try then.

Thanks again peeps
