The playlist refers to regions stored in an AIFF, SD2, or WAVE file. MP3 files cannot contain markers, regions, or loops, so you will need to:
1) Open the MP3 file 2) Save it as an AIFF, SD2, or WAVE file 3) Mark up your regions, and save the file (note it is no longer an MP3) 4) Create a playlist and put your regions into it 5) Save your playlist
Don't delete the AIFF file because the playlist refers to it.
Hope that helps- SB

more trouble, i've completed doing the marks and regions, but when i wanted to burn it said: "There is too much audio data to fit on an audio cd. Unable to complete burn." i see the the track is 1:17:45, so it should fit an 80min audio cd. on my playlist i see Program Duration: 77:45.155 - what does it mean?
How com i'm not able to burn the cd and get this msg?
thanks red

Waveburner makes industry standard Red Book CD's These should play on any CD player anywhere in the worrld no matter how old. Unfortunately - a Red Book CD can only be 74 minutes long. Exactly the same thing happens in CD architect. Maybe you should look at this to find out more about CD standards http://www.gi.alaska.edu/crc/cdrom/cdrom.html
