hello all

im currently running logic pro 6.4 and im unable to open a particular song. booting up logic fresh from the dock opens fine but when i try to open this song logic is forced to quit. can anyone give me any pointers to try rescue my song from being lost forever?

im running logic pro on a dual 2g g5 with 1.5g ram
This particular song has quite a lot of native instruments running as well as EW storm drum

try repairing permissions, removing all your AU plugins from the folder (temporarily) and/or remove logic preferences files, and see if it starts up. If it does then reorganize memory (double click display of available MIDI events in transport window) and re-import your keysettings, if any custom, from your old prefs file, and replace your plugins.

you can also try booting into single user mode and fsck -y -f your startup disk.

hey man

thanks for the info!, ill give that i try, have a feeling its got somthing to do with ram processing an error or something because im getting a core-audio message saying "not enough memory to open pluggin" when i open logic now (from dock) logic appears to run fine, may have to remove all my plugg's as you were saying and see if one of them is setting off this message

cheers james
