"fixes a rare problem with the "Recent Files" menu"
I hoped this was fixed too, but wasn't.... Rare my ASS. Has always been like this, on every machine I have used it on (in other studios) and all version where I've seen this in the menu. Did work when I had Platinum 6.3.3 on Classic, but was very unstable in 9 so went back to Panther, where's it's best. Notice a slower "screen draw" when stopped. I.E. when finished playing, the track numbers "rewrote" themselves, not so with 6.4.2 so might switch back to it as nothing new seems to make a difference. Just wanted the "Recent Files" to work... Ahh well... May buy Logic 7 upgrade soon... Bobbi |

well if it did not fix it it is easily fixed.
it was something like you had to open logic, close, delete certain prefs, then start logic, cancel start assistant, save new page as autoload, close logic and reopen i will get the correct steps to you soon. happy recording, editbrain |

I'm having the same problem with Waves Diamond and Live.
Waves seem to work fine in Logic Pro 6 and PT6 but crashes Live. Anyone feeling smart? peace, chap This post has been edited by chappy: Fri 22 Oct 2004, 06:02 |

Hello all...
I just picked up my upgrade copy of Logic Pro 7... Yes, the "recent items" menu is fixed and works great... This was a 'PO' to me in 6 as well... Interface is different - But even with the new stuff - It seems to run BETTER than 6 did on my 1Ghz PowerBook... I'm impressed and pleased at the same time... PS - I noticed in the Apple Propaganda page it mentions something about Waveburner with Logic 7 being able to burn "red book compatible" CD's... Anyone with Logic 7 know if Waveburner is indeed with the package??? Lastly there are some great new features in effects and analyzation that I think many will find quite usefull... -------------------- |

There are some issue with Logic 7 in that not all of the NI plug-ins are working that work in Logic 6 Pro. I fix I assume will be coming..
