Hi Everyone,

Has anyone had any problems with Digital Performer's Tracks window freezing on them?
I'm running DP3 on a 466Mhz single processor. The program dosn't crash, and audio will still continue to play while the window has frozen.
I've tried to turn off various extentions but that hasn't worked.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

It's a glitch. Wait for the update. Don't sweat it. Let it go.

I'm running DP3 on a G4/400 and it does the same thing. The track overview window freezes often. It gets annoying. I don't know any other way around it except Option-Command-M to close the tracks overview window and oepn the Mixer window. Then Option-Command-T to open the track window again. Anyone have and easier way?

According to the MOTU web site, a very nice update (3.1) is coming out 1Q 2002. If that update doesn't fix the tracks window thing, we must consider a class action suit. For most class action, I wear a gray suit. What you wear is up to you.

This should work.

Before you play, resize the tracks window to be entirely within your current screen, or select a smaller screen set from the menu. The freezing, I believe, is caused by the cursor going beyond the screen boundary.

Good luck.
I found this forum by accident. Not sure if I will ever remember this password.

I have the same problem with DP3 on my dual gig G4, so I would also be of the opinion that it's a software bug. The other suggested solutions have worked for me.
