 G4 Imac And Logic 7, CPU Usage |

I just installed Logic Pro 7 on my 1gRAM/1ghz G4 iMac and I am getting an occasional "snap, crackle, and pop". I notice this is due to the CPU usage topping out. I've tried various buffer sizes for my M-Box with no success. Any suggestions on system adjustments (other than getting a G5) would be greatly appreciated.
