I am using the Moog Modular V softsynth within my host sequencer, which I have duly authorised and registered with Arturia. However, from time to time it asks me for the CD?

Problem is, I tend to have to eject whatever is in my drive at the time, and then insert the original installation CD etc. which is becoming a pain in the ass.
Is this normal (e.g. software protection), or have I not authorised it properly?

There is nothing on the Arturia website about this.

I am awaiting a response from their Customer Support, but I was wondering if any other users have had this problem, or do I need an update?

Absynth 1.x does this, too. It's part of the copy protection scheme – prevents you from installing it on all your buddies' machines using your own serial number.

Sound Diver does this also..
you can load it into your buddies machine, but you'd better have the disc every time....
