o.k. i was ranting! but honestly o.m.s. is a dinasour, it hasn't been updated in years, as a long term logic user i had to abandon it ages ago. to get the best performance from logic it becomes increasingly necassary to use logic's built in midi driver. this is where my gripe starts! logic's implementation of virtual instruments leaves a lot to be desired, to the point that for instance, where in cubase, 1 instance of say, pro52 allows sixteen midi channels to be addressed, in logic you need 16 instances of pro52 to acheive the same!!! pathetic, i hate to say it but that's just bad programming. i still use logic but am more & more frustrated at being in the slow lane. i was so pissed off that logic (in the case of pitch 2 midi) once again let me down and that a great author like dragan, whose products i've been using since day 1 had to even consider o.m.s. that i genuinely decided that it's time to move on! of course logic has it's good points, but they're falling behind, i used to consider gerhard & co as the best programming team in the arena but am getting frustrated......all comments welcome, peace.

We all know it's a dying slowlyraptor but we have e few thing coming worth the wait and free midi is still here (oh sorry! it sucks but for most of us it'll be just a question of months now before a better (say a little prayer here) tomorrow. At least I hope so. Eventually, you are the first Logic user I see ranting like that… why don't you star a thread like that, it could be interesting, couldn't it?
