just been given an old powerpc, which i'm hoping will be able to replace my atari st so i can mangle audio, but i know nothing about macs!
my question is, is this spec good enough for using audio trax?
+ if not, what would i need to upgrade it a decent level?
i want to use cubase sx or equivalent...

spec is -
powerpc g3, 300mhz, 1mb cache, 768mb ram, 8gb hd, 24x cd, av, 6vr, zipdrive. <this is what it says on the label on the back>.

also, can you convert any other sockets into usb or firewire?

much gratitude!!!!!!!!!!
