I have Cubase! Yay! I thought everything would be fun and easy! But here's whats happening:

I Record a midi track. So far so good. I play it back; it plays through my keyboard. Fine. Then I want to try using a virtual insturument. I load it into the rack thingy, then set the midi tracks output to VB-1 (the instrument). IT DOESN"T PLAY! angry.gif angry.gif angry.gif

Another problem: I make an audio track, try to use the iMacs built in mike and it wont record anything! angry.gif

Cubase version 2.0.1
No, it's legit.
No, only the built in sound card.

And by tthe way, I know what the problem is now, just not how to fix it. Here's the problem: it won't play audio. At all. None. I opened the tutorial file, which has audio in it, and the midi played through my keyboard but not the audio.

Computer: iMac, 1.25 GHz, 512 MB Ram
Speakers: Bose Companion 3
OS: 10.3.5
Cubase: 2.0.1, SX

Other audio won't play, either, though.

How do I do this?
