I have just bought MOTU Mach five and am finding it difficult if not impossible to drop samples into the sampler. Wondering if anyone else has encountered the same problem.

Read page 62 on the manual or look at the index for "Drag and drop", it tells you everything.
Although some host applications don't allow this. I use DP, so there is no problems at all.

I had this problem too. I use protools le 6. It doesn't support this function if I remember right. I have to double click a key on the virtual keyboard, and then "browse" my files and choose from there.
