Hi all,
I'm only new to Logic and its many wonderful instruments but I'm really puzzled by the multichannel version of the EXS24. The manual talks about setting up aux tracks and then these will automatically be subtracted from the stereo mix. But this doesn't seem to occur. I select the mc version from I/O and then when I assign the other outputs in aux tracks (EXS 3, EXS 4, etc) nothing comes out of them. I'm really confused. The Logic manual doesn't help and neither does the EXS24 manual. They don't explain what happens (or I'm just incredibly stupid!) What I want to do is have the multi channel version for drums so I can mix the various pieces of kit separately from the track mixer.

Thanks,

I've still no luck with this. However, I have noticed that if I route an audio track to a buss and then select that buss as the input for an aux I can hear the buss through that aux track so I'm guessing its got somethng to do with my outputs from EXS24mkII. Please can anybody shed any light on this???

I'm not sure if this will work, but go to the environment window (I think that's what it's called) and draw the little cables from each aux to the instrument. Hopefully that will work...
