Turntable slowdown effect Options

I'm grateful for suggestions as to how I could get that effect you can find on various records where the whole song suddenly slows down really quickly like someone stopping a record with their hand.

I've recently picked up a plugin called kuniox for Logic (which I run on a Mac G3) which does that but
1) I don't know how to make the effects I generate with it permanent and
2) I want to know how others do it.
