Hi
Does whether anyone knows whether Cubase SE (the version in the Studiocase bundle) will run on a mac with a G3 processor?

Cubase SE Hybrid requires a 450 mhz G4 minimum Mac if that's it.

I feel left behind... I'm still using an iMac 600. Well, I'm glad I found out it doesn't work before I bought it (I wanted it too).

Hmm, I'm surprised that a version of cubase SE works ok on a mac at all. It was bundled with my Garritan P.O. but irritatingly only for PC. (a fact not mentioned in the GPO advertising.) I guess the cubase Se studio case version has much higher specs than the one which comes with GPO. Still I suppose one can't complain when its bundled for free. JC.

Hi,
Cubase SE crossplatform is currently being sold as a standalone application, so it's a regular piece of software(with quite good price). It's actually the main component of Studio Case, more likely it's in Cubase System2 where placed with simple USB audio/midi interface. On System2 min. requirements mention even G4 867 MHz (probably due to enclosed set of virtual instruments), but anyway on Monday I'm going to give it a chance on my old PB G4 500 at local Steinberg distributor biggrin.gif
