Just re-read your post, I think I've missed something here, so : Update: #1: crossfades have to be made in your DAW (ProTools, Cubase, DP), not in the CD Burner soft. Take your two tracks, perform the desired crossfade, consolidate-assemble the two tracks(whatever the name in your soft->turn the two files into one), separate the resulting file at the precise point where you want the CD Id to be created and Bounce to disc (or whatever the name...prepare the file for burning->stereo interleaved, AIFF-SDII, 16 bits, 44.1KHz). There are in fact different (more or less fast ways to do this but it all depends on what soft you're working with, so...). You're done. #2: some of my friends say they can do this in iTunes (using a 0 sec. gap between tracks); I personnaly doubt it will be totally unnoticable since I don't think iTunes supports Disc at Once. #3: Another great option is Jam; more usefull features than in Toast. Did that help?... Are you still around?...

Jam is perfect! I'm really looking forward to the new version which should be out now. It's included with the new Toast Titanium which is not that expensive!
