I am cosidering the move from Digital Performer to Logic. Can any one tell me how many tracks I can expect to get on my TiBook (667/512) I am really liking the virtual instruments and the Space designer plugs.

I mostly compose jazz and sometimes jingles and show music. Right now with DP, I can do about 2-4 audio tracks with EQ and Verb on each track, and 4 or so midi tracks without much problems. I don't have any virtual instruments with DP so I don't know how my powerbook will handle them.

My needs are huge, but I would like an idea if I can still get work done if I seitch. What has been your experience? Any suggestions?
