Hi all

I Just bought cubase 5.0 for my G4 and I have a steinberg usb 2 midi, midi box.

I can't get an input to my transport bar on cubase. Second problem is that when I play back a song, the notes come out at random??? If I use the quicktime output it comes out fine. Just when I use my modules.

If anyone has an answer, would you please let me know as it is driving me mad!! I can't work!!!

Thank you

Andy

Hi Andy,
I also had some trouble configuring OMS and Cubase. Unfortunately, I don´t know anymore what exactly I did to get it to work, but you might try this link: . It sure helped me.

Good Luck

try to use Cubase without OMS if you don't really need it!
Cubase is not really OMS friendly angry.gif

I had the same thing with OMS and Cubase 5.0..
Uninstall both progams, then install OMS first before you install Cubase (or the other way around, i don't remember exactly..)

It sound silly, I know, but it worked on my G3....

Good luck

Yes Rogier is correct. OMS first then Cubase (worked with the earlier versions of Cubase). But having said that, I have read elsewhere in this forum that there were some problems between v5.0 and OMS 2.3.8 and a downgrade to 2.3.7 was recomended. So might be worth checking which version u have.

Best of luck!
