gigastudio from tascam uses the giga format.
Kontakt and kompact from ik multimedia, uses the kontakt format What format you use is based on what software you're using. Most of the big name software samplers can import many different types of sample formats. Scott |

on my mac I use reason & pro tools, but I use acid on my pc a lot...right now I am searching for wav files or anything i can convert to one... |

nice list man!!i believe kontakt and kompakt are from Native Instruments. tho.
as for samples or sampler progs there is a very useful program called CDXtract (www.cdxtract.com ) which converts many types of sample formats and programs.worth checking it. |
