Sorry to bore you with annoying begginer's questions, but here goes: Do you think this would be a decent setup for recording medium quality recordings of our band:

Mac G4 laptop (£900's worth)
Logic Audio (probably express)
E-magic 6|2 Audio/Midi interface
A controller Keyboard (Yamaha DJX, as I allready have it)
Yamaha MG16/6FX mixing console (which I allready have)
M-audio X-session USB controller which comes with Ableton Live XS and Arturia Storm XS

Any comments? Please?

Im sure you could get decent quality recordings with this set-up. You could hire some good mic's too. Most valuable is a good understanding of how to run your gear and software for pro results.

good luck
