This update does not differ from the beta updater posted earlier by the Finale people. Although it works (sort of), the 72 dpi pict preview is very poor, looking jagged on screen (particularly in page layout programs) and there are some font substitution and font embedding warning problems. CodaMusic has indicated that it doesn't plan to address the problems in another Finale 2004 update, preferring to wait until the 2005 release. I would encourage everybody to lobby them to fix things in a 2004d update. In the meantime, you can workaround the problem if you have Acrobat Professional. Print a postscript file, then produce an .eps file with Acrobat.
