Hi, I have a problem, I just purchased an iMic to input my Shure SM58 mic in to my Mac using Cubase SX V1 but when I come to select Audio I cannot get it to work, what is going on? Something so simple is hard as hell.
Can any body explain the route to success or do I go back to my Analogue 4 Track and admit defeat? This audio problem is turning me into a hillbilly redneck bucktooth gimp. Hope you can help before I have to take up the banjo...again! |

The SM58 uses an XLR connector, and the iMic has a 1/8" unbalanced connector. What mic preamp are you using and how are you routing it to the iMic? Second, you should be able to select the iMic as your VST input in the preferences menu. I dont use Cubase SX, but I'm sure this is all detailed in your manual... |
