Looking to find the cheapest upgrade.(Musician after all, don't have Another $8000+ CAD for new tower lol ;=) Dual 500's on eBay $100! Single 800 < $200 Getting 8 tracks now ( 7 really playable ) GB rocks! thanks db, G4 400 Sawtooth; Mac OS X (10.3.x); 1.5g, PCI Audiophile 2496 etc...

If your mac could handle the ectra umpf, I would go for the 800, I will be the better option. Your computer is only going to be as good as the slowest thing on it. So if your bus will only handle 350Mhz, your 800 Mhz CPU will sit there at half capasity. and thats just a bloody shame -------------------- BING BING BLEEP ERRRRRRR[I]
