Hi. I recently installed a second drive on my G5 dual 2.0. It is a Seagate Barracuda 160 MB Serial ATA drive. From my research, it was one of the top drives recommended for the G5. And it works great! It was very easy to install - the directions for doing so are nicely detailed in the G5 setup manual, or you can go to the Apple site and download a pdf file which shows you how to do it. Go to: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=26276
