Dear Forum Users,

1- Does any of you know what or how is done the sequence to update the firmware on the CME VX using a Mac O/S 10.5?

It seems that is a little bit complicated.

Here is the link: http://www.cme-pro.com/en/support.php?pid=9&type=app

Thank you in advance,
./nelson

I don't know a CME but save if something very specific comes in, you should download the file and the Brain, instal the Brain app in your application folder, quit all other software, disable energy saving/screensaver and start the update as stated from the pdf files.

Note that is the Brain is not in his own folder, to have it in a VX Brain folder may be important. As for the files they should be in the VX/bin sub folder, if need be, try with them in the CME folder or directly in the application folder.

hierarchy:
~/applications/VX Brain/VX/bin/ [update files]

It's a shame they did not take the few hours to make the OS X version of the little manual clear and plain.

Tell us if it works and how you managed/not managed to update, if it turns not working, we may be able to think about something else.
