I am running the Tascam US-428 with the Powerbook G3. I recently aquired this old (1985 old) Casio CZ-1000 keyboard, with an equally old Midi connection. I wanted to set up this keyboard through the Midi connection on the Tascam to work with Reason. I've been told by a reputable source that this is possable, but need more detailed instructions. Thanks for any help!!

It should work I think if you make your midi connections, and put the US428 ASIOdrivers in Reasons ASIO-folder... I don't know if it will work for the controller data as well, depends on what kind of midi-info your Casio sends... Let me know if will work out..!
