Hey, all!

I've been debating obsessively about purchasing Protools via the mbox or Logic Express. After learning recently that I can pick up Logic Express for $149 through the mac educator discount, the choice seems clear to me. I also won't be tied to the usb interface of the mbox and instead will probably go with a firewire 410.

My question, though, is whether it is advisable to upgrade my os to Panther. Right now I'm running 10.2.8 and am very satisfied with it, but of course I want to know what Logic Express will like best.

Thanks

I use Panther 10.3.3 with Logic 6.3 (Platinum) and the Firewire 410. I've had no problems at all with the setup.
