System Load In Ableton, About plugins with ableton

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 2 Joined: 19-Apr 04 From: Hoorn - NL Member No.: 41,327	Hi, I have a problem with my new Mac g4 1000mhz 512MB powerbook. When running Reason and Ableton together or only ableton with a few plugins, it starts to be glitchy. Do I have to do something to let it run much faster since my pc doesn't have any problems with the system load with just a few reverb's, eq's and delays.... Please help. Greetz...

Not a good thing when you are trying to record audio. Also Live is not G4 altivec optimised. -------------------- G-Dub

If you are just using playback feature set the latency quite high. and bounce parts from reason down to clips in live as often as is realistic.
