Does anyone know what the specific limitations of the version of Reason Adapted packaged with M-Audio products are?

I'm not certain as I haven't used it myself, but from a small screenshot, it looked like the sequencer was removed...?

it has a sequencer in it. i think the main limitations are that it doesn't have all the synth modules that the full version has and it won't accept the reason refills.

Reason Adapted comes with Mixer, ReDrum, Dr. Rex, Subtractor, NN19, Matrix, Delay, RV7000 Advanced Reverb, and Compressor

It does not have Malstrom Graintable synthesizer, NN-XT Sampler, Scream 4 distortion, BV512 Vocoder and a few other effects.

Have a look here to see what the full version has.

As I recall, you can't save files in the version of Reason supplied with M-Audio products, at least that's what I remember from what came with my Audiophile 24/96 sound card.

I found the manual on the CD and it list the limitations.

From the manual:

In this specific instance of Reason Adapted, the following devices are available:
A Redrum drum machine device
A Dr. Rex loop player device
Two Subtractor synthesizer devices
An NN-19 sampler device
A Matrix pattern sequencer device
An RV7000 advanced reverb device
A DDL-1 digital delay device
A Comp-01 compressor device
a Mixer 14:2 device

This device configuration is fixed - you cannot add additional devices or remove devices. Howwever, you can frely reorder devices and route signals as you like.

Guess it helps to read the directions, huh? That's fine because I'm just beginning and this will give me enough to play with to see if it's worth picking up the full version down the road.
