Does anyone have any experience of recording with the new Microkorg synth?
I am hoping to get an analogue-modelling synth to be used both for recording and live use/jamming. I have played the Microkorg in a shop a few times and think the sounds are superb as well as its portability and basic vocoder. I know it can also be used as a MIDI controller which I may find useful with soft synths as my current MIDI keyboard has no knobs to twiddle.
I have also tried the Nord Lead 2 which is just incredible, although much more expensive, and especially loved its portamento and pitch controller. How does this perform in a MIDI set-up? And any idea whether the Microkorg does portamento?

Any help would be much appreciated
