Hi Every1!
I hav had my mac fo couple opf months now, used to make sick as beats on fruityloops. Now that i cant use it, i was wondering if i cuold please grab some advice on what would be a great replacement. I want ot be able to produce sum really crackin RnB beatz using samples without hassle. Ive tried the reaktor session demo which was too hard, i got cubase but dnt kno wat the hell im doin....Some help, advice, places to get demos would be great!

Have you tried Reason?
They have a demo version...

Also, if you are using loops you could try Ableton Live 3, it also has a demo.

The cheapest alternative is to get a copy Garageband and just try to see
if has enough features for you, it also can mix loops and samples.
If you bought a Mac recently it should have came pre-installed!

Cubase, Logic, Digital Perfomer, and the like are more geared toward midi sequencing.
That isn't completely true, as all of them have the same basic all-in-one DAW features,
but they aren't really designed for easy to use sample and loop mixing.

Fruity Loops Rant:
That little movie they made on their
website about hating Macs, was in poor
taste and wasn't really funny.
