Hello computer music people.

Can anyone tell me how to use absynth in protools.

I have downloaded a file called "ABSYNTH 2 RTAS Mac OS X Update.sit"

I think this makes Absynth 2.0.4 into a plugin for protools.

How do I connect it??? I know how to use normal audiosuite plugins. I place the unstuffed file into the

Protools pluginalias folder with all the other audiosuite plugs. I don't know what comes next, and all the manuals

I can find assume knowledge of plugin connections, which I dont have.

Please can someone help me.

Thanks V much,

Chris.

Are you running Mac OS X?

Typically the plug-ins go into the following directory?:

\Library\Audio\Plugins\RTAS\

FYI - usually the update would be a installer file
so you would run the installer and it would place
everything where it needs to go.

Placing the Update in your plugins alias directory
probably won't do much.
