All apologies if this has been answered before...
The audio out on my G3 (OS 9.1) was damaged so I bought an Audiophile 24/96 soundcard. Everything works fine with it except the one program I really want to use - Reason. If I even try to load the program the entire machine hangs, at the same point every time - when it tries to load 'Dr Rex'. Is this simply an easily fixable driver conflict, or is it a more deep-rooted problem with the card itself? Am I going to have to take it back? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.... |

Are you also using OSX? I had OSX on my machine for a while and finally removed it because it would not allow Reason to run at all even if I booted into 9.1 and it cause problems with other files. I would try to remove your new sound card drivers and maybe uninstall it and then try running Reason again. If it works... then your sound card is the problem. If it still doesn't run... then you have some problems with your system files and should consider reinstalling or doing a clean install.
