Just to add some more detail...
On an iMac 700 DV, 256Mb, etc, we are experiencing a delay between pressing the key on the USB/MIDI keyboard and hearing the sound. We are using the Quicktime synth for sounds. Any ideas (adding extra tracks is hard!!!!) |

I have heard that some of the new USB keyboards suffer from latency problems so it may be the keyboard itself. I would research your keyboard more.

I have narrowed it down to Quicktime 5. Install another software synth and it works fine.
