I thought I was doing pretty well until now. I can't figure out how to record the audio output of a virtual synth (like Kontakt). Here's what I've tried: Assign the output of Kontakt to a stereo buss, say 3+4. Then, record enable a stereo track with the same stereo buss (3+4) as the input. Does not work. I'm probably doing something stupid.

Also, is there a way to sum a stereo instrument to mono?

Thanks,

Dave

I was set up to monitor directly through hardware output (It was late). Problem solved. I still would like to know about summing a stereo signal to mono though.
