Hello computer music people.
Can anyone tell me how to use absynth in protools. I have downloaded a file called "ABSYNTH 2 RTAS Mac OS X Update.sit" I think this makes Absynth 2.0.4 into a plugin for protools. How do I connect it??? I know how to use normal audiosuite plugins. I place the unstuffed file into the Protools pluginalias folder with all the other audiosuite plugs. I don't know what comes next, and all the manuals I can find assume knowledge of plugin connections, which I dont have. Please can someone help me. Thanks V much, Chris. |

Are you running Mac OS X?
Typically the plug-ins go into the following directory?: \Library\Audio\Plugins\RTAS\ FYI - usually the update would be a installer file so you would run the installer and it would place everything where it needs to go. Placing the Update in your plugins alias directory probably won't do much. This post has been edited by sethjacquay: Wed 21 Apr 2004, 19:49 -------------------- Ableton Live 4.1
