Hello guys !

I use MacOS 10.3.3 and Quicktime 6.5 Pro

And a Roland SoundCanvas Sc-88 Pro synthetizer.

It is connected to the Mac through an USB-MIDI interface Yamaha UX16.
The drive for this interface for max OS X is correctly installed.

I think of having well configured "Audio and MIDI Configuration".
(correct ID, etc.)

However, my Roland synthetizer is not listed in the preferences of
Quicktime/Music. Only the Quicktime synthetizer appears. The
interface Yamaha UX-16 does not appear either.

Therefore, when I want to reproduce a MIDI file with Quicktime
Player, I can only use the Quicktime sounds. Not average to choose my
synthetizer Roland.

Does anybody have a solution?

Thank you in advance.

That is why I am still using Jag until things shake out. However, I would contact Roland Support and see if the problem is on the radar there. They may appreciate it and seem to be quite good at things like this.
