I can't import audio from a CD. I was able to now it can't see the individual songs on the CD when I go to convert and Import, even when you double click on the CD, only icons (with '0' file size) are listed, but the do play through the CD player
&
I can't get PT to talk to quick time musical instruments...it is enabled and the midi channel (fader) assigned to quicktime....when I do studio test you cant here anything from the quick time icon, just the IAC. Same goes for the click track w/QT.

For queston 1, use SoundApp to convert your CD audio to most formats. It's free and works great.
