Just got PTLE 6.2.2. Running Panther 10.3.2....... Everytime I begin to play a track it says:"Increase H/W Buffer Size" I can't increase it more than 1024 smpls....... There is absolutely nothing more I know how to do....... Are there any particular settings I should have my computer on? Got a Powerbook G4:550 MHz:512 MB SDRAM..........

THANK YOU MOST GRACIOUSELY! biggrin.gif

You can try two things at least.

1) Check if you got the latest drivers from Digidesign for the M-Box.

2) Your internal hard-drive may be too slow, try to borrow an external firewre-based hd.
Without the 911-Oxford chipset and with and 7200 rpm hd-drive
Try to record audio to the external fw-drive and see what happens.

B.t.w:
If you connect the M-Box to your PB-G4 via an external USB-hub - bypass the USB-hub.
Connect the M-Box directly to one usb-port on the computer.

try lowering the 'CPU Usage limit' to about 65%. I found on my system (G4/400 OS9.2.2) that a high buffer size and high CPU Usage limit stopped the DAE from driving the USB port properly. I know you're on panther/6.2.2 but this still may help.
I found some info on this on the digidesign site (support > tech support). I'm sure if u have a look there you'll find some answers.

good luck, bjkiwi

The same thing happened to me at first djfever, but I increased the buffer size and it ran fine afterward.
I use a PB G4 1.25 512mb , but I'm still running OS X.3.2
