Here's the hardware:

Korg Triton Studio 76
E-MU X-6 with Mophatt module
Midiman Sport 2X2

While trying autoconfigure the midi hardware DP4 detects the E-MU but doesn't see the Triton Studio. I manually add the Triton but when I try to use the patches all I get are the GM patches. I have the Triton in sequence mode but still no luck. I can record and playback the triton GM patches only.

On the E-MU side, for whatever reason I only have 1 midi channel available thus I can't mult-track the different patches.

Any ideas?
Cheers!

Are you saying DP only lists GM patches or that the Triton only plays GM patches regardless of what bank and patch you send? If it's the first, you need to make sure you have the correct model selected in Audio MIDI Setup. If it's the latter it may be that the Triton middev file (in Library/Audio/MIDI Devices) has a problem.
I don't have a Triton Studio so I can't check the file for you. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the tip. The Triton will only play back the GM sounds regardless of selected patch. (DP does show the correct patches)

Hi Netjammer,

On your Triton, press Global, then Pref. Change your Bank Map setting from GM(2) to KORG. Now press Utility, then OK to save this new Global setting. The Triton will now play the way you want it to.

Hope this helps.

Hey netjammer

I have a very similar problem. I have an Alesis QS7, DP4 only give me one midi channel to utilize. However when I attempt to change the recieve settings in the audio MIDI setup it some how disables the midi output as a result the meter shows the data signal but I here nothing.

The Graphic editor does no show anymidi data.

Have you come up with any solutions.
