sad.gif Hi. I was recording some tracks yesterday in DP4 and the newly recorded track was displayed in the track section, but when I stopped recording and rewound, the clip would dissappear! I could hear it when I played it back, it was just invisible. What happened?

My second question is: Some of my inputs do not show up in the audio monitor window so I can see levels, etc. I can see its level in the main section, and it records, but not in the monitor window. I am using a MOTU 24 I/O on a G5.

does anything show up in the wave form editor(ie...the bar that would control the waveforms)?

as for the inputs...you may need to open the motu pci application and uncheck the "enable inputs" box.

Yes, in the waveform editor I see them just fine, but they are invisible in the main track view. It was fine the first couple of times I recorded. I must have changed some default value somewhere.

As for disabling some inputs, I tried disabling some of them and it still doesn't help me to get some of my devices to show up in the audio monitor.

I had soundbites unchecked in the View Filters screen. Did this during tutorial on midi, where they had me only turn on notes and velocities. So, one down one to go. biggrin.gif

Well, as for the inputs not showing up...if they aren't listed, then you have to go to your motu pci console(the microphone icon) and uncheck the "enable routing" box. this will turn on all in/out options. if it's just not metering then you probably have to open up cuemix and un-mute that channel. good luck.
