Help Opening Pc Midi Files, Nor OSX nor my sequencers can open them! Options

A PC user friend (huh?) sent me a couple of midi files that he has on his PC, but I can't get my G5 to open them.

I've heard of MidiTyper, but that's just for OS 9.

Any other suggestions about opening them files?

Hi alterar,
Ask your friend to save the file in a different midi format. (usually, most sequence programs can save as in 2-3 different formats) You can try that and/or adding a ".mid" at the end of each midi file. Also, try importing the files into your program. I hope one of those works.
